Nature Art & Creative Writing 
Mondays 12:00-3:00   
Ages 7-13

Activities & Creative Writing will be relative to the ages & abilities of the student
Younger Writers can choose less writing & will be given more emergent projects & shorter writing time
Older or more advanced writers & creators will be challenged at their level for interesting & engaging topics and art projects & have opportunity to help and lead 

Nature Art : using plants, create stamps out of natural products
and arts around the seasons from winter to spring. The farm and area will go from wintery to coming back alive and green, we'll get to see the birds come back, the garden grow, and the full area wake up and thrive! This will be the inspiration of many an art project, and creative writing story!

Nature Journaling, Creative Writing, Nature Journaling Outside in the trees, the garden, by the animals and the pond to inspire!


Threaded into writing :Support in  Composition, Grammar,
Latin Word Roots ( supporting spelling, reading & comprehension) & Literature 
Creative Writing & Art will support each facet and help it to come alive. 

Dress for the weather and outdoor time
We will be outside as much as the weather allows

We will help children feel confident where they are at, excited to learn and write. We will work on building stories, character development, building a plot, formation of a story. We'll take time to listen to a story and discuss elements like who is the main character, and comprehension questions. Taking it outside to do some thoughtful nature journaling, weaving art in some art to illustrate their story or journaling.
