Winter Session 2025 : Between Semester 1 & Semester 2

Learning about our history on the Oregon Trail : Hands on learning about life along the trail, stories, survival, foods, geography, history, , language arts, hands on projects too. Whittling, cooking over a fire, mapping activities & map making, historical projects, writing with quill pens (from the farm here) and more learning fun!

​We meet at the waiting are, inside the fenced area by the blue rooster and playhouse

There we greet, answer questions and take class to our first class spot. This is also where we bring the class back to you. Please wait here for your child at pick up.

​

What to bring to class:

Simple items to warm over a fire like a hot dog or grilled cheese sandwich. Please do not rely on this as we might not have a fire in time or each day. Fires will rely on the class schedule, the weather and interests of the class.

Bring a lunch & snack

Full large water bottle filled in a backpack

Layered clothing for wintery outdoor time In a bag or backpack: Full Snow Gear: snow pants, snow boots, beanie & winter jacket

We will need the snow gear for cold and or windy weather as it'll keep your child warm & dry whether we have snow or not
